3/12/2019

Came is the official sponsor in the MotoGP World Champion for the motorcycle racer Tony Arbolino.

Tony Arbolino was born in Garbagnate Milanese (MI) on August 3, 2000.

His favorite sports are riding motorcycles and football. Tony started riding minibikes when he was 4 years old and, thanks to the support of his father who gifted him a minibike, Tony showed immediately to be very comfortable driving on two wheels.

He started racing with the number 4 which, at that time, was its age. At the registrations of his first championship the number 4 was already assigned to another kid, so he decided to double the number 4, choosing the number 44, that he is still wearing today.

In 2009 he debuted in the Italian Championship and immediately won 15 of the 18 races, he won the “Titolo Italiano”, “Coppa Costruttori”, “Titolo Regionale” and he ranked third in the European Championship in Germany.

In 2011 Tony started racing in the Mini GP50 Championship and he ranked third, then the following year he ranked first in the European Championship in Spain.

In 2013, when he was just 12 years old, the Italian Federation allowed Tony to compete in the Pre GP 125 2T Championship, where people can race on the Mugello, Imola, Misano and Vallelunga circuits. Tony amazed everyone winning the Italian Championship one race in advance!

In 2014 Tony joined the SIC58 Squadra Corse team. With the help of Paolo Simoncelli he won the PreMoto3 125 2T Italian Championship with SIC’s colors, stepping on the podium 9 times:

  • 6 First Place
  • 1 Second Place
  • 2 Third Place

He won the championship one race in advance!
